We are thrilled to announce that our school will serve as a mentor school alongside new high schools implementing the P-CAP model offered by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis thanks to a Rural Postsecondary and Economic Development (RPED) grant from the U.S. Department of Education. P-CAP is designed for disengaged students who are at risk of dropping out, preparing them for high-wage, in-demand industry careers. P-CAP has been proven to improve attendance and GPA while offering students CTE pathways and stackable credentials. Students experience integrated core classes, smaller class sizes, and hands-on curriculum with project-based learning. P-CAP connects students to industry partners through workplace learning challenges. Read the release: https://bit.ly/4cBTAQ2
