This week is #EarlyCollegeWeek. Two unique programs we have are Welding and Precision Machining. Did you know we have students from 4 other high schools? Union City, Randolph Southern, Monroe Central, and Northeastern students join us at WCHS for these two programs. @Celluindy
The Winchester Boys Track team hosted Monroe Central last night and came away with a narrow 6 point loss 58 to 64. First Place finishers for the Falcons were Jamison Beashers (110 hurdles), Braxton Bosworth (100m), Maddox Rose (400m), Jorge Vasquez (200m and Long Jump), Gage Patterson (High Jump), and Dylan Sanders (Shot Put and Disc). The Falcons will be back in action on Friday night as they travel to Northeastern for the Knight Invite. Meet time is set for 5:15.

Brett Romine, our Early College English Teacher, was recently selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction by The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). A role model to pupils, Mr. Romine was nominated by a student for outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in the profession. Mr. Romine was nominated by Elijah Love who will graduate with the Class of 2021. Congratulation to Mr. Romine!

Boys Track
The Winchester Boys Track team competed in the Muncie Central Relays on Saturday and finished tied for 4th place out of 8 teams with 55 points. Top performers for the Falcons was the 4x100 Relay team of Brayden Jenkins, Braxton Bosworth, Alex Van Meter, and Jorge Vasquez with a 2nd place finish, The Falcons took several 4th place finishes with Dylan Sanders Shot Put, Gage Patterson High Jump, Jorge Vasquez 100m, the Sprint Medley team of Brayden Jenkins, Braxton Bosworth, Jorge Vasquez, and Maddox Rose, and the 4x400 m Relay team of Maddox Rose, Alex Van Meter, Jamison Beashers, and Gage Patterson. The Falcons will be back in action at home on Tuesday as they host Monroe Central and Tri. The meet is set for 5:00.
